What is TigerCool?<\/h3>\n

TigerCool is a heat-reflective technology created by Tencate. TigerCool yarns use UV-resistant technology to keep the surface temperatures up to 15 percent and 10 degrees cooler.<\/p>\n

The result is outdoor areas that stay comfortable and enjoyable \u2013 even as summer temperatures begin to climb.<\/p>\n

Heat-reflective technology also prevents fading and color bleeding from the sun. As a result, TigerCool products stay greener longer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How UV-Reflective Technology Works<\/h3>\n

Artificial turf landscaping is constantly exposed to the sun\u2019s rays. Depending on the composition of the synthetic grass used, it will either absorb the heat or reflect it into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Traditional artificial grass is made from dark colors that absorb infrared light, causing a buildup of heat that can make for an uncomfortable surface to walk on.<\/p>\n

TigerCool products use heat-reflective pigments to reflect UV rays, effectively lowering the surface temperature of the landscape.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

TigerCool Heat Reflective (HR) Test Lab Results<\/h3>\n

At Synthetic Grass Warehouse, we pride ourselves on having our products third-party tested for quality. We had our TigerCool artificial turf products tested in a lab to ensure they effectively reduced surface temperatures.<\/p>\n

In the lab, a series of solar panel tests were conducted to determine the efficacy of TigerCool yarns in reflecting infrared rays. The results found that UV-resistant artificial turf successfully reduced surface temperatures more than synthetic turf without TigerCool technology.<\/p>\n

With an average improvement of 10.5 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum improvement of 14 degrees Fahrenheit, lab studies clearly indicate the difference TigerCool can make in your
